• Parenting is not about doing the “right” thing.
• Parenting is an intertwined process and personal development that cannot be overlooked without carefully decipher many internal and external factors. For example:

— Each child’s developmental history, temperament and personality, interaction styles, and current developmental stage.
— Imminent social and cultural contexts that the family lives in.
• Growing up as a child, we all have a perspective on parenting.
• Relying on ingrained ideas on how one “Becoming a parent” are effective sometimes but not without “blind spots”.
• Every child is unique and so as every parent.
• Parenting is more about creating a good balance:
— Between the parent(caregiver)-child relationship.
